have you made any yet?
Instead of spending money on flowers that will die in a few days, why not write your spouse/partner a love letter? Write about how it was when you first met and when you knew that you loved them and wanted to spend the rest of your life with them.
Talk about them as a parent (if applicable) and how you love watching them interact with your children.
Talk about your favorite things about them and how you love waking up next to them every morning and falling asleep next to them every night.
That's a gift that will live forever....long after the flowers fade.
Is it appropriate for me to give a gift to someone I've been dating casually for three weeks? Just a card? Flowers? What should I do?

No plans here. Just doing Mommy duty for 2 kindergarten Valentine's Day parties. (good thing the classrooms are side by side!) A will get home in time to help put the boys to bed. Maybe we can do a little celebrating after they are asleep.
MHO for Dale... 3 weeks, bad timing. I guess you should do something, but I'd keep it fun. A cute card, more humorous than serious, and maybe some flowers.

Perfect. Thanks NYTM. And no, WL, I didn't. But I will one day, I think. One day soon.
