It wasn't until this morning when I opened the box that held our Christmas tree that I remembered that last year I put the tree into storage with the 1200 lights still on the tree.
I was so smart to think of that...... it saved me an enormous amount of time in getting it up and ready for ornaments. I think it took a total of seven minutes. Previously, it took about 4 or 5 hours to string all those lights. With all that task behind me (or not even needing to be done in the first place) I'm really looking forward to decorating our family tree.
I had to laugh when I read what I put for the title of this post for the S2TA because I thought to myself, "If I'm so smart, then how come I didn't remember that I kept the lights on the tree from last year?"
And if I'm so smart, then how come I ran the dryer an entire cycle before I realized that I forgot to put the wet/clean clothes into the dryer before I hit the start button?
What have you done lately that you thought was a good idea? And when it came time to re discover your good idea - was it as good as you hoped?
-or-
What have you done lately that was kind of silly or kind of dumb?
And most important......
Are you participating in Operation Spread The Sparkle ?
