If Only:
- I had a few hours to play "catch-up" with the many unfinished post that I have waiting to be shared (including the one on risks associated with ECVs vs cesareans)
- I could have another 4 hour nap
- I could stop coughing
- There were a strong decongestant that would work in less than 10 minutes so I could get loosened up
- I felt better
- I could have enjoyed the trip to south GA for our family Christmas with my parents/sister's family
- I could stop coughing (oh, I already said that didn't I?)
- Our holiday cards hadn't turned into "New Year's" cards (hopefully not Valentine's cards)
- I felt like doing all the things that need to get done
But......
Christmas isn't all about me. ::cough::
It's about the celebration of a "Birthday" and the love that we share with those around us.
It's about remembering those who are far away in distance but have become so close to us in this past year by way of a magical avenue called blogging.
It's about the wonder in a child's eyes when they open presents or sit and stare into the eyes of the best SantaClause.
It's about twinkling lights (white, of course), tasty goodies and meals shared with loved ones.
It's about 'togetherness' and hopes for a promising new year.
It's about wishing those all over the world peace and goodwill.
If only everyone could know that kind of love and happiness.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Merry Christmas, Washlady! So sorry you have that nagging cough. My 7 year has one too. But I can hear her in the shower right now singing Joy to the World. Maybe she is feeling better. At least she has the right idea about the holiday.
