I'm not anti-tattoo for other people, but they are not something I enjoy looking at. Personally, I'd never have one unless it was forced on me.

I'm a bit intrigued by those temporary henna paisley designs -- can't think of the name -- that people do on their feet or hands. That's the farthest walk on the wild side I'm willing to take, LOL...and the beauty part is, I guess they wash out in two or three weeks. But I suspect my boss would look askance at even a discreetly henna'd ankle.

I have two. One on each deltoid or upper arm. I chose those locations so I can cover them easily with a short sleeved shirt. I waited until my mid-thirties to get the first one. I wanted to have something I'd always love.

My right arm has a heart, pierced vertically with a torch. A small scroll carries the names of my children: Daniel and Meagan.

On my left arm, is a real-looking maple leaf with a scroll under it that declares "Made in Canada."

I plan on getting a tattoe on my lower back of angel wings and Ava's name on it.

My mom got one on her ankle of a little Teddy Bear that say's Ava's name as well.

I find tattoes interesting. They tell a story that someone wants to share. Some are just a little freakier than others I guess (hence the tiger lady story above)
