Here's my first entry for Operation "Spread The Sparkle:"
These are from my mom's tree. I took them while at her house this past week.
This angel was made from a silk magnolia flower. I made this the year that I was Chairperson of "Santa's Workshop" when my older girls were in elementary school. Its my favorite ornament on my mom's tree.
This ornament sparkles....and its a quilt square on the side of the glass ornament.
This old sugar woman is made of fabric. She is about 6 inches tall. Another fabric ornament that I love on my mom's tree is this one:
This ornament is hand made as well. Its folded fabric and the pattern is called Texas Star. I remember one year that I made about 2 dozen of these things. Each ornament takes a total of about 45 minutes to make. My fingers were so sore...but the ornaments are beautiful and so were the smiles of the recipients.
